Gunther Volkswagen Coconut Creek, a part of Gunther Motor Company, donated $5,000 to the Coconut Creek Police Department. The Diamond-Sponsor $5,000+ donation supported the USPCA 2023 Region 1 Field Trials and the United States Police Canine Association, Inc.

The USPCA Region 1 Field Trials are happening March 19-24, 2023, and showcase law enforcement’s finest K9 officers from around the region as they compete in various PD1 and Detector competitions, including:

Obedience
Detection Practice
ORT Testing and Packages
Room Hides Narcotics/Explosives
Apprehension WITH & W/O Gun Fire

“It was our very own K9 Officer Michael Leonard of the Coconut Creek Police Department who apprehended the Parkland Shooter in 2018,” said Joe Gunther, owner of Gunther Volkswagen Coconut Creek, a part of Gunther Motor Company. “It is a privilege to support the men and women of law enforcement and their K9 partners, who put their lives on the line every day to help make our community safer.”
