#1 2021 CUPRA Formentor VZ5

2021 CUPRA Formentor VZ5 is named VZ for the Spanish word Veloz, which means Quick, and 5 for the number of cylinders under its hood. The model borrows the 2.5L turbo mill from Audi RS3: here, it is paired with a 7-speed DSG and a Haldex-style AWD, netting 390 hps and 354 lb-ft.

#2 2021 CUPRA Ateca

The story of Cupra’s independence is tightly entangled with the immediate market success of the Ateca. In 2018 it became the first model to wear a copper badge and soon it became one of the best-selling performance crossovers on the European market.

#3 2021 CUPRA Leon

2021 CUPRA Leon arrives with the same underpinning as its Seat sibling, but gets higher-power engines: a 245hp PHEV, a 2-liter TSI with 245 or 300 horses, or in case of the Sportstourer model, a 310-horsepower 2-liter mill with AWD.

#4 2021 CUPRA Born + el-Born Concept

Unless any other manufacturer beats Cupra to it, Born is expected to become the world’s first mass produced electric hot hatchback. Built at the same Zwickau, Germany factory as t he VW ID3, the model will share its underpinnings but will follow the Spanish brand’s sports philosophy.

The first Cupra E-Racer prototype was introduced back in 2018, and this year, the race-ready model is finally ready to compete in the upcoming e-TCR championship.

Back in the day Cupra was the first brand to introduce an electric racing grand tourer. To highlight their determination to transition to zero emission transportation the company cooperated with the German ABT Sportsline to participate in the first electric off road racing series Extreme-E.

#8 2021 CUPRA Leon Competicion

Based on the latest road-legal CUPRA Leon, the Competicion model gets the same 2.0-liter turbocharged engine which has been revamped for 340 horsepower and 302 pound-feet of torque.
